WISD School Closures - February 13, 2025
All WISD student programs will be closed on Thursday, February 13, 2025, due to expected inclement weather.
This closure includes High Point School, Progress Park, Red Oak, Young Adult Programs and Services, Court Involved Youth, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Local-Based classrooms.
WISD’s administrative offices at the Teaching and Learning Center will open at 10:00 am.

WISD’s Ann Arbor Young Adult classroom and services will now remain open as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, and there will no longer be a disruption to programming.

WISD’s administrative offices at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) will remain open today. 
Due to the extremely cold temperatures, all WISD programs and administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
The Special Education Community Inclusion Coffee and Conversation will be rescheduled for March 5, 2025. 
All WISD student programs will be closed today on Thursday, December 12, 2024, due to poor road conditions and the winter storm impacting significant portions of Washtenaw County.
This closure includes High Point School, Progress Park, Red Oak, Young Adult Programs and Services, Court Involved Youth, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Local-Based classrooms.
WISD’s administrative offices at the Teaching and Learning Center will be open. TLC staff should report to the office when safe, or you may work remotely with approval from your supervisor.
Status of local school districts for December 12, 2024:
- These local districts will also be CLOSED today: Ann Arbor Chelsea, Dexter, Lincoln, Manchester, Whitmore Lake and Ypsilanti Schools
- These districts will be OPEN today: Milan and Saline
