Ann Arbor Rockets Hockey
Ice hockey adapted for special needs
We have been doing this since 2011, and we have participants of all ages and abilities. Also it is FREE (which is pretty cool because any of us with kids playing hockey know it is an expensive sports). We just got started up a couple of weeks ago, but new people are always welcome. We play at the ice rink at Veteran's Memorial Park in Ann Arbor on Sundays at 10:30 AM. Come on by and watch, or talk with the coaches if you have any questions. Even if your person doesn't know how to skate they will help them learn! The coaches are Dr. Jacqueline Kaufmann and Ms. Kim Gearns.
