WISD Fingerprinting Services

THE FINGERPRINTING OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, APRIL 23RD.  STAFF WILL BE AT AN IN-SERVICE.

Overview

WISD provides fingerprinting services via Live Scan.  Live Scan captures fingerprint and palm prints electronically without the use of ink.

WISD is not equipped to complete ink based fingerprint cards.  Please contact your local police department for this service.

We conduct fingerprinting services for the following reasons:

  • Daycare Licensing (Reason code – DCL)
  • Driver Education License (Reason code – LDE)
  • National Child Protection Act (Reason code – CPE)
  • National Volunteer Act (Reason code – CPV)
  • School Employment (Reason code – SE)
  • State Bar (Reason code – SB)
  • Third Party Tester (Reason code – TPT)

PLEASE NOTE THE FINGERPRINTING OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Monday, May 28th, 2018 for Memorial Day

Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 for Independence Day

Fingerprinting services are available on the following days and times:

  • MONDAY              8:30 AM   -   10:30 AM
  • WEDNESDAY      1:00 PM   -     4:00 PM
  • THURSDAY        12:00 PM   -    3:00 PM

 

In the event of inclement weather, please check our website and/or your local weather channel for school closings.  If the WISD is closed, fingerprinting will also be closed.

 

Fee

  • The cost for fingerprinting is $69.00.
  • Acceptable forms of payment are Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and cash.  American Express and personal checks are not accepted.

 

What to Bring

  • Valid picture identification (e.g., Driver’s license, State I.D., or passport).
  • Completed Live Scan form issued by the school, business or licensing agency that will receive your criminal history report.
  • If being printed for EDUStaff, you need to bring an "Offer of Employment" letter from them.
  • $69.00 payment.
